The Paramedic Program at Great Plains Technology Center prepares students to become advanced providers of emergency medical care. Building on their foundational training as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), students develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology, cardiology, pharmacology, and medical procedures. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on simulation, students will master core concepts in pathophysiology, pharmacology, trauma care, cardiology, and advanced medical interventions.

Tuition and fees or documentation from your funding agency are due by the first day of class each semester. Students who are enrolled in a program for more than 5 scheduled school days will be responsible for the full semester’s tuition and fees, regardless of enrollment or funding status. Out-of-district adult students will pay in-district tuition plus $1000 for an “out-of-district” fee.
