The scholarship is a one-time tuition scholarship.  The scholarship is good for ONE Full Time Program Tuition. The scholarship is good for 1 year from the date of High School Graduation. If you are selected as a Scholarship Winner, it is for tuition only and can be applied towards ONE Full-Time Program.

DEADLINE
The deadline for 2024 Graduates has passed. 
Please check back in January 2025 for the application for 2025 Graduates.

The Scholarship Committee will meet shortly after the deadline to determine the winners of the scholarship and will present winners at the Senior Award Ceremony at your High School.

The Great Plains Technology Center Foundation Scholarship, Inc. was formed in 1980.  The primary reason for forming the Foundation was to assist students with tuition to attend Great Plains Technology Center.  Currently, there are 20 members on the board of trustees who volunteer time and money to the Foundation.  Funds are donated by local business, citizens, employees’ of Great Plains Technology Center, and other Foundations such as the McMahon Foundation.

Scholarship is for our Short Term/Continuing Education (CE) Classes

FAFSA Application is required to determine need-based portion of the scholarship

If you are approved for this scholarship, the amount will vary from 25% to 50% of the tuition only

30 days prior to class begin date for Short Term/Continuing Education (CE) Classes

Full-time, one year tuition scholarship for a student enrolled in full-time Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Program.
