Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Lawton Campus

Providing emergency care to patients in their time of need is exactly what an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) does every day. Classroom and clinical experience are combined to provide what you need to obtain your certification. A minimum of forty clinical hours are required in addition to 216 hours of class time. Background checks will be conducted for all students. Shot records and/or titers are required at the start of class. Additional costs include PPD, drug screen, black EMS uniform pants, black boots, and other supplies. The PPD and drug screen deadline will be given by the instructor when class begins. You must be at least 18 to take the national certification exam, as well as the Oklahoma State EMT Certification (testing fees required).
