Basic RiderCourse - Lawton Campus

$175
Student must be 14 to take that class.
This Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) sponsored course provides a step-by-step introduction to motorcycling fundamentals, including safety, control, and road awareness. Completing the course meets the Department of Defense (DOD) MSF card requirement and waives Oklahoma’s written and driving tests to obtain a motorcycle “L” endorsement. The course is mandatory for anyone under 18 and highly recommended for new riders or those without a driver’s license. If over 18 and never had a driver’s license or are between the ages of 14-16 you must appear before a Driver's License Examiner and take a vision and Class D general knowledge test.
Students will receive hands-on training with provided motorcycles and are required to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, over-the-ankle footwear, full-fingered gloves, and an approved helmet (supplied if needed).
The course also includes an e-course and e-text for additional learning. Students must be able to ride a bicycle and bring a legal guardian if they are under 18 for consent on the first day.
