Strategic Initiatives

The Great Plains mission, vision and beliefs have been in place since 2015. In 2019, four new strategic initiatives were identified as the organization's top priorities through 2022. Employees were given the opportunity to serve on four collaborative Strategic Initiative Teams to develop action plans and results for the four initiatives.  While the work of the teams was interrupted due to the pandemic, the teams have picked up where they left off, and will continue to address and update action plans for the four initiatives.

Develop and integrate new, highly effective technologies in all aspects of the organization, including instruction, client services and day-to-day operations.

Create an organizational culture that encourages the safety, inclusion, support and acceptance of all students, clients, stakeholders and employees.

Research and incorporate effective instructional learning systems to support student learning.

Motivate "above-and-beyond" performance from employees by strengthening trust, collaboration and effectiveness across all departmental teams.
