Great Plains Technology Center completer and positive placement definitions
A career major completer is an individual who successfully completes all courses in the career major and takes the program’s common assessment(s).
Positive placement for a GPTC student is one that is a career major completer or course concentrator that completes 360 hours of instruction and finds employment in the military or employment in an occupation which is related to the career cluster or chooses to continue their education in higher education or another Career Major in a Technology Center.
