We offer customized business and industry services on-demand in our 30,000 square foot training facility and seminar center or at the work-site. Training and services delivered as needed to support small or large class sizes, rotating shifts, and one-time or recurring requirements.
Our skill-training facilities include fluid power laboratories, welding and fabrication shops, manufacturing process control simulation labs and manufacturing systems simulation labs.
Our safety-training facilities include live fire safety and fire brigade training lab, confined space simulation lab, indoor powered industrial truck lab and training area, lockout-tagout simulators and lab area.
Our seminar center offers both large and small seminar settings that include kitchens and break areas, conference style seating, and high quality audio-visual support.
Our corporate training services division also provides a wide range of services that you may not expect from a traditional “vocational school”.
- Fully staffed worker assessment center that is capable of providing preemployment and professional development assessment of applicants and employees.
- Authorized ACT Work Keys Service Center. We provide job task analysis, job profiling, assessment, and scoring services.
- Administration and interpretation of the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), the System for Assessment and Group Evaluation (SAGE) and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
- Certification of employees as DDI targeted selection behavioral based interviewers. Consulting service to implement the DDI Targeted Selection process.
- Instructional systems design services and analysis of training programs.
- A robust catalog of human performance improvement training that can be customized to meet the needs of your industry. Our instructors are certified trainers for Achieve Global and Development Dimensions International (DDI). We have developed and successfully implemented human resource development intervention programs for change management, goal setting, and transition to supervisory responsibility, communications skills improvement, effective performance appraisal, business writing, and many more. Starting with a core body of knowledge, instruction is customized to meet the training objectives of the customer.
Our mission is to train Oklahomans for success in Oklahoma business and industry. We are part of a statewide network of career and technology education professionals that can provide services directly; or coordinate for services from subject matter experts in any field at reduced (state subsidized) rates.
Services are available on both a customer paid (fee basis) and through state training incentive programs for qualified business and industry customers.
- Customers paid programs are charged at hourly rates plus books and student materials. This structure offers significant savings over the traditional “per student” billing structure.
- The Training for Industry and Existing Industry Programs provide financial support to meet corporate training goals. These programs are available for both new workers and incumbent workers. Grant funds may be available to support pre-employment assessment, pre-production training and skill upgrades training. Funded training is not limited to technical training. Quality assurance, leadership, team building, problem solving, and other performance improvement skills are also eligible. Safety related training is also available (requires a small employer co-pay).
