What are the hourly requirements?

  • Students attend GP Tech three hours each day, morning or afternoon. The remainder of the day is spent at the high school. 
  • Two-hour class options are also available.
  • Students who attend a high school located within Great Plains’ district attend day time courses tuition-free.
  • Students can earn up to three credits per school year either elective or required.
  • Credits are issued on the high school transcript.
  • Some courses also qualify for OHLAP credits.
  • Great Plains offers Algebra II and Geometry for students who have class scheduling conflicts.
  • Application for classes begins in January and February for the next school year.
